We had a chance to get our hands on a Sony Xperia S and we were delighted with the new design. The phone has a rectangular yet sleek design with a lower touch screen for buttons.
The actual size is 128 x 64 x 10.6mm and the weight is 144g giving it a similar feel to some of the popular phones today. The Xperia S has a front facing camera at 1.3MP with recording at 720p @ 30fps. The screen is 4.3" LED-backlit LCD with 342 ppi. The camera on the back has 12MP and recording of 1080p @ 30fps. The phone has a mini usb port and wireless support for 2G, 3G, WIFI and Bluetooth.
The Xperia S runs on Android 2.3 with plans for an upgrade to 4.0.With the introduction of Playstation Mobile we can only imagine we will see some pretty cool apps and games for the phone in months to come. Of course you have the android store which is full of apps and games already. If you are in the need of a sleek phone with all the newest technology built in this may be the one for you.
