HP, Microsoft, Intel Bridging the Gap

The next evolution in business technology

Seminole Hard Rock Caf? and Casino

The purpose of the night is to bridge the gap between home use and business use.  The companies are bringing new lines to make this a possibility. An announcement was made for a brand new printer and an elite pad 900 gen 1.5.

Intel?s Luis Mendez business development team opened the event by speaking about how mobility is the vision for a connected world.  Who believes the PC is dead? The desktop may be but computing will continue to evolve.  New technology has looked at its users to determine how they will develop their hardware and software.  Intel and Microsoft want to re-invent the PC with ultrabooks and deliver great experiences on IA phones and tablets; HP EliteBook Folio 9470mis one example.  Intel and HP are also partnered to create a great platform for users.  The power of all 3 is a win win situation.

The vision is computing that is unique to you or the ME experience, know me, link me, express me, free me.  Ultrabooks for business, high performance, and rich visual experience, rapid start technology, extended battery life, stylish design and protection with manageability for IT.

The table has its place in the business world as well and they are answering the IT concerns such as asset security, data protection and support, but also the end user demands, sleek, cool, connected, flexibility.  Clovertail Intel atom Z is running the elitepad 9470m, great user experience, exceptional mobility, enhanced protections, Windows 8.  Every year Intel will introduce a new architecture.  Clovertail tick 12 32nm, bay trail tick + tock 22NM, Airmont Tick ?14 14nm.  What this means to the consumer, faster, smoother, longer computing.

Innovations for business, McAfee Intel security, Intel vPro Technology, Intel solid state drives.  Technologies that help businesses win.  vPro is the brain for manageability, this allows enterprises to do anything they need on the IT side.

HP and Microsoft followed the show with a day in the life...What?s next for your business?  How will you embrace Consumerization?  Cloud computing, data explosion, social computing, browser based, ecosystems, personal devices and connectivity are you ready to provide this to your costumers.  If you use HP, Intel and Microsoft you sure are.  The hybrid between business and pleasure is now available.

The ElitePad running Windows 8 Pro is ready for the business world and it can run on a tablet! Things like bitlocker, trusted platform, geo fencing everything you love on a full laptop.  Microsoft office allows users to save to the cloud to be able to access your documents from any device.

HP elitepad revolve will start shipping middle or end of March, designed for that hybrid customers.  IT is IT ready, designed for durability and non compromise performance.  I won a Best notebook award in CES 2013.  11.6 inch screen , swivel to  tablet from a notebook, adjust screen orientation, a keyboard, touch screen or a pen, what else can they add  to this puppy.

Lee Ali closed the show demoing all the products to show the power of Windows 8 and the HP ElitePad powered by Intel.

In conclusion, HP, Microsoft and Intel are really listening to their customers and creating a product that will satisfy every customer base.

****Microsoft announced the very 1st cross platform game called Skulls of Shogun; you can play it on your windows phone, and then finish it off once you get home on your tablet or PC. ****
