Sharp Expands AQUOS LCD TV Lineup at CES 2011

Beside those awesome 3D HDTVs we've talked about earlier, Sharp also brought to CES 2011 a couple of more...down-to-Earth LCD TVs in the AQUOS lineup, that offers users advanced display features without going overboard with the pricing (at least according to what the company has to say on the matter). The first new AQUOS LCD TV we'll talk about as follows is the 60-inch edge-lit LED Sharp AQUOS LC-60LE632U model, that offers Full HD 1080p resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz, built-in WiFi and a wide array of network functions, offering users fast and easy access to online content. Next in line come a couple of TVs designed to fit in smaller spaces, namely the AQUOS LE430 Series LCD TVs, that include the LC-32LE430U (720p/60Hz), and LC-19LE430U (720p/60Hz) models. These TVs also pack USB Media players for the direct playback of photo slide shows and music files, as well as 4 HDMI inputs (3 rear, 1 side). Last, but certainly not least, come the Sharp 42-inch screen size class AQUOS LC-42D69U and 32-inch screen size class AQUOS LC-32D59U models, featuring Optical Picture Control (OPC) and targeting mostly users on a budget. "Our latest line of AQUOS LCD TVs continue the expansion of our high-definition home entertainment products that offer a formidable combination of superior picture quality, value and eco-friendly design,” said Bruce Tripido, associate vice president, Entertainment Products Division, Sharp Electronics Corporation. “While we are the market leader in LCD TVs with screen size classes of more than 60-inches, we are committed to offering AQUOS performance across screen size classes to provide quality entertainment experiences throughout the home,” Mr. Tripido added. No details regarding the pricing of the new AQUOS LCD HDTVs have been provided just yet, but Sharp was kind enough to tell us just when we should expect these new models to arrive on the market, namely over the course of February (the LC-42D69U and the LC-32D59U), March (LC-32LE430U) and April 2011 (the LC-60LE632U and LC-19LE430U).
